Infotmic IMAPX210 Will Replace VIA Chip?

VIA MW8605 chips are very short of supply these days in Shenzhen market. Almost all of Shenzhen factories have no way to continue production of VIA MW8605 tablets. Now the tablets found in the market possibly are from the previous stock or some main boards of returned tablets. The short supply is predicted not to ease till December 15th this year. Why it suddenly happened that VIA MW8650 was out of stock? It said VIA is making preparation for its next generation of chip. So it began to reduce the output of WM8650 chip.

Many of factories in Shenzhen are living on the VIA 8650 tablets. They couldn't wait to declare bankruptcy. Most of them applied the Infotmic IMAPX210 chip instead of VIA 8650. Both of them are in the similar price rank. IX210 tablets have a better performance than VIA 8650 ones overall. After a long term of optimization, ARM11 has been developed to its best status. It can play 1080p HD and online flash videos smoothly. But compared to Cortex A8 chip, it runs slower and not so good as Cortex A8's game performance. IMAPX210 tables still have a huge potential to occupy a better market share, because they are sold cheaper than cortex A8 ones.

Infotmic IMAPX210 Will Replace VIA Chip? Who knows? VIA chip may launch its new powerful weapon next year.

I would be interested in the Shenzhen wholesale prices of the various cpus. How does price of X210 compare to Allwinner A10 for example, which is clearly a better chip?

And in my opinion it looks not so good. Again this 30pin port and resistive screen...
    AllWinner still looks better
