My review of Eken m013f

I do not believe and I have disassemble my tablet today.
It have Infotmic x210 processor (with 3d acceleration but without GPS option).
OH! Just take a look! It have only 2500 mAh battery! So do you understand why my tablet turns off at 35-40% of discharging??? All normal 10" tablets have 2 cell battery 3.7v connected paralleled. BUT NOT M013F!
Something wrong with this battery.
I am not happy... Pandawill!!! Please help me! Do not leave me with this problems!!!

There are two batteries there.
About the CPU, you are right, the statics given by the Eken is wrong.

Look carefully at battery description:
Manufacturer: WW (WinWin) battery CO. On their battery packs caption is described FULL TOTAL OVERALL battery capacity (7.4v, 2500 mAh).
On other battery packs the captions are placed on each of batteries.
Please look at this battery. Second cell is without any caption!
This two cells give 7.4v and have TOTAL capacity is 2500 mAh. Not 3600 that is in Pandawill description. Do you understand me?
There is NO caption about 3600 mAh at battery. This is battery pack with 2500 mAh capacity.

I want to ask Pandawill to sell me good battery pack (3600 mAh) and touchscreen panel replacement for EKEN m013F with BIG discount. Because Pandawill lying and sell me device that not corresponds description on site.
CPU is not X220.
Battery is not 3600 mah.

Dear Pandawill.
Great thanks for touchscreen panel replacement for Eken m013f. I replaced it successfully.
But about battery. I have asked you many times for 3600 mAh battery. But why do you have sent me 2500 mAh battery???
It is the same battery that I already have. I try to install new battery but problem with power consumption is still the same (not solved).
1) Tablet still turns off at 35% battery level without any alert message about low battery.
2) Below 50% battery level the tablet became work VERY unstable. It produces errors with video playback, errors with writing to SD card (I have tried different cards). I have lose several files on SD card because of it. So I think that problem is not in battery.

Sadly... I do not know what to do. I can't dropship this device with these power consumption problems...

Why on Eken's site battery is 3600 mah (look in description http://www.eken.com/m013f/)
But I have only 2500 mah????????????????????????????????

Ruslan. Same problem here with my Eken M013F that I received yesterday. I still did not open the tablet but I guess I will find the same problems. I suggest if you agree to mantain contact via PM to try to solve the problems. I found on Eken webpage a firmware posted......Support told me it might solve the problem at least warning about low level battery....
I take advantage of this post to make the same claim to Pandawill staff. I want some kind of solution to this problem. Also I have a problem that if tablet spends more than 5/10 minutes on standby it turns off and you have to start up the tablet all over by pressing the on/off button more than 6 seconds to turn it off and 4 seconds to turn it on again. The tablet appears as hang....maybe Ruslan can you help me in this appart from Pandawill. If this problem can't be solved I want a discount on future buys because the tablet it's almost useless this way. Order number for my tablet is 100038630

leovitis Firmware from Eken site cannot solve the problem with battery lasts. I have tried with it.
Do not flash U0 u-boot-nand.bin from Eken's Infotmic Update tool because the file in archive is for 7 inch tablet m009F (Not for 10 inch screen). So this file (u-boot-nand.bin) now made 7 inch image of 10 inch screen of Eken m013f. I have asked Eken support for 10 inch boot loader.

As I understands the problem with battery is covered in Android kernel. This kernel is compiled for another battery (not for current WW 2500 mah). When Eken will create new kernel compilation for battery WW 2500 mah I think then problem can be solved.

Eken m013f. Hardware is good. Software is very bad...

RuslanMG, I did not open mine to check. It's possible to replace the battery if Pandawill send us a good one? What about the problem in standby, do you have that problem? Mine after 5 minutes on standby the tablet stops responding. Only solution is press the power button for 6 seconds, wait for the power light to turn off and start all over the tablet. If tablet don't enter stand by mode I can use it with no problems at all. I sent and email to Pandawill Service. I'm very unhappy after paying 129 usd + 65 usd in taxes in my country.

2) Yes, I have problem with standby
3) Yes, it is possible to change battery but you have big risk to damage touchscreen glass!
4) Yes, I have tried with last firmware but problems with power consumption still not solved.
I am also unhappy with m013F.
