Hi Panda. I`ve ordered Pioneer A700 DVB-T version for using like GPS navigator but this main function does not work! I checked it by using Navitel, IGO, GPS test plus and built it soft. I was waiting gps signal more than 40 minuts but I did not receive the signal. In setting GPS turn ON. Could you give me any advices or any ideas how fix this device.
Hello, We have sold more than 30 of this machine and no one meet the problem.
First of all you have to turn on the wifi. Make sure the signal is good.
Then you can turn on the GPS.
Hope it works on your device.
I have the same problem... The problem is with Android 2.3 firmware. For 2.1 v. no problem...
How did you install the maps and iGo to tablet after flashed the 2.3 firmware? Copy it to TF card or connect it to PC and copy the files into tablet?
I checked, if you flash the machine to 2.3 by yourself. Then GPS system will be lost. We now have the new A700 with Android 2.3. Then the GPS can work. I mean if the machine you buy from us with Android 2.3, the GPS works.
In this case, I am afraid you have to buy a 2GB TF card and we copy the GPS on it. Then you can use it.
