Hmm. There isn't any android market apk works on beta version of 2.3 firmware based Gpad G10. You could try latest version of applanet. It might works.

Thanks Knight and Luckylucy. What is the difference between Market and Applanet ? Are all apps on Market also available on Applanet? Actually just the highly rated ones will be good enough.. :-)

I am still hopeful that Market may work because I saw Pandawill's review on the C10 review page saying that "Market apk is working, playing games, local video, music, all ok."

Pandawill, can help clarify? Will help us (me actually) alot if can get Market to work. Even if have to downgrade to 2.1, cos Market more important to me than 2.3 features. If market only works in 2.1/2.2, can i use G10's 2.1 firmware and flashing method? Pls help check with your technical stuff? Thanks in advance!

cirrus1500, if can access android market doesn't relate with android version 2.1 or 2.3 .C10, G10 and some other our tablets can support android market but sometimes google close the access so we can't login android market. In this situation, we can download from other apps stores or search in internet.

I do not see any difference in C10 and G10 tablets as G10 can now also be upgraded to Android 2.3 OS.

C10 and G10 from different manufacturer so quality and price are different.

Some updates. I installed applanet and it has most of the apps from mkt and works like mkt, except that:
    - the featured apps on 1st page are mostly porn, not good for kids
    - search sometimes cannot find what it actually has, e.g. kindle, so must search repeatedly and it will return the results
    - downloads are slow, and often has package error, if download more than 1 app at once. It often does not auto install after downloaded so u have to pretend to download again then it will continue to install fine.

The 2nd and 3rd issue I guess is due to android 2.3 beta, not Applanet or C10 hardware. I bought a gpad G10 late last year and here is my impession: C10's hardware look and feel and behaviou is very identical to G10, button placements, build, touch screen sensitivity, microSD slot feel, top speaker louder than bottom, the same jerkiness when using google Sky Map and 3D apps, the screen turning upside down (power button at top of screen) for the same apps that occur with G10 but not with other android systems, etc., so i suspect C10 and G10 may be tbe same tablet from same OEM, but branded differently. The G10 with android 2.1 works very well with mkt without any of the above issues, so i guess if hardware is really compatible, if C10 gets a stable 2.1 flash, it should work as well as G10. All above are just my guess from my observation tho., still need verification.

Beautiful tablet, these are the future. They have the features everyone is looking for: surfing the web, chat, play, etcetera. It is also cheap.

In description "Nand Flash 4GB", but in my C10 which I got today I can't find 4GB. Only Internal Storage Available Space 473MB. Is there a 4GB Nand flash or not?

C10 4GB inside, but wrong firmware, they don't partitioned the internal storage You can use G10 android 2.3 firmware, and format the NAND partition. Its work with that.
