sku10075 - GPS dongle for GPAD G10

Hello,
I have ordered sku10075, the gpad g10 dongle. my gpad is the upgraded gpad running the beta version of android 2.3


I can see the blue led turning on as i insert the dongle, and flickering from time to time, but no gps applications work. a gps test software does not work either.


What am i doing wrong, do i need to install software please?


Also, i did not get any maps

hi Lido, pls install a driver for windows to make GPS work.
1. Go to: http://www.globalsat.co.uk/page_support.htm
2. Download and install "PL-2303 Driver for Microsoft Windows 7 -> USB drivers"
3. Download and install "ND-100 S -> Windows 7 USB drivers"

Start the software, set the connection speed to 9600bps, click connect and go to a place where you can get gps signal. It will find satellites pretty soon.

Tried the above and managed to get the GPS receiver working under windows. What do I need to do to get it working on the upgraded Gpad10 (4gb) please? , or after doing the above, should it just work?

I have seen that other people has the same problem, I had another tablet and GPS never worked, bought a cell phone and GPS finds no signal. Just a real GPS seems to work ...But the GPS from pandawill are good quality, one product, which I recommend ...
I tried different tablets from China but I have to say I am not a fan of that but quality will be better in future.

I have the same problem. I can not connect S1 GPS-receiver to Gpag G10 (android 2.1). Lit blue LED, but the G10 does not see it. Is the driver for Windows suitable for G10 on OS Android?
