Late last week I bought what looks to be a G13 without HDMI-port, but there's no information about the manufacturer, brand or model anywhere on the box, tablet or PDF manual, so I searched a bit and found these forums. I'm hoping someone here can help me with the following questions:
- The G13 shown on this site has home screens that rotate with the device, and a slide-out programs menu/dock. On my tablet the home screens don't rotate when I rotate the tablet (apps and settings etc. do rotate, just not the home screens), and to see all installed apps I have to push a button on the home screens that'll launch a new screen with all apps. Is there any way for me to get the software shown on the device on this site?
- I'd like to know if it's possible to change the device storage from its original amount to 1GB or more. I can't even install Angry Birds or Firefox because there's not enough device storage left.
- Is there any way to get Android 2.2 or higher installed? I've read that on Android 2.2 and up it's possible to move some apps to the SD-card, so if it's possible to upgrade I maybe wouldn't have to mess with the device storage settings...
My tablet looks 100% identical to the G13 shown on this site except for the HDMI-port and software.
