PIPO Smart S1 - useful information

I recently bought Pipo Smart S1 ....Good tablet but I was dissapointed about two things ; so I wrote an email to PIPO.CN.
Message to Pipo.cn :
"I recently bought this tablet : Pipo Smart S1. It' a verry good tablet, otherwise better than my previous tablets : MID (8650), LY-F1, Zenithink ZT282 C91 Upgrade ; Eken-T05A ; Teclast P76Ti ...
The dual-core RK3066 and the quad-core Mali400 rules !!!
BUT ...
I have two problems :
- even the tablets goes to "sleep" by himself or by pressing short the "on/off" butoon, the screen becomes ON after a couple of seconds, stay ON for few seconds, then goes OFF for few seconds ....and so on, and so on ...
- most of games from Gameloft dont work !! I must to make "re-fund" on G.Market because of this ...it's really annoying ... I read the Android 4.0 makes no such problems ...

So, please, help me with this two issue !!!"

usually， there is a detailed update guide file in the firmware package.
I don't know it is in Chinese or English.
Maybe you could give me the firmware.

The firmware received from Pipo is 4.0.4. Because of this : " I read the Android 4.0 makes no such problems ..."
LE : Or maybe I misinterpreted ?!

you said most of the gameloft not all.
Does this mean you can play some gameloft games?
there are many resons why gameloft games are incompatible with your tab.
try to install other versions of games, such as those request lower resolution

you have download the English RKbatch tool and Pipo Smart S1 TNT Release 2 Firmware Image right？

just open

then it shows:



after select the firmware file(unzip the file before scanning with the tool, if it is ziped, you can't find it with the update tool), connect your powered-off tab with the computer

when the number 1 on the undate tool interface turns green, cleck "ungrade" key

wait it to finish upgrading,

when it finishes, the tab will boot by himself

This method is a general one.

Indeed, I found some older version of Gameloft games working on my tablet (for example : Batman The Dark Knight ver. 1.0.6 !) ... Asphalt 7 , last version, is working ...

Maybe a reflash (with TNT) will fix this, but I wait for more info from Roman !
