[ROM] Official Jelly Bean (android 4.1) Cube U30GT firmware

Is there a JellyBean firmware upgrade for Cube U30GT with only English apps? Some of my apps are all in Chinese and therefore I have no idea what they are or what the settings are. Sorry if this is a repeat question, i searched and was unable to find the answer.

There is no official JB firmware with English apps only - latest one is 1.02H, which is ICS.

Good news that there are alternative firmwares based on 1.06H, which is the latest JB ROM for U30GT. Those firmwares are cleaned form Chinese apps, English is set by default and they are already rooted to expand on usability. I can recommend those firmwares:

Last one is for more advanced users because it contains CWM mod. First one is highly tweaked for better Google Play usability, etc. Second one is cleaned from Chinese apps and rooted, so it is the closest to original one.

Have you tried using 1.06H firmware? It suppose to have WiFi fixes. If you don't want any Chinese apps you can use the firmware from my previous post (2nd link), which is cleaned and rooted.

Also please describe the problem in more detail.

According to my knowledge there is no PW customized Jelly Bean (Android 4.1) firmware. You either have to stick with ICS if you want original PW firmware, or you have to use one of the alternative firmwares to get nice clean ROM with modified Google Play settings.

Original Cube firmware will have Chinese bloatware apps and market (Google Play) will be rather restricted.

I had this problem, I upgraded u30gt_h with 10.1 firmware for u30gt_w. You can either update with 1.07 for u30gt_h, on the cube tablet forum, or the kasty rooted versions at xda forum, for u30gt_h.

I have this rom installed on my H cube, all seems OK, BUT, the screen actions, taps, keyboard, touch etc are extremely sensitive, too sensitive. When tapping on the on screen keyboard, it can (not always but often) jump to adding two letters the same), when attempting to move an app on the home screen, it just responds so quickly and fully opens the app so that you do not have time to move it anywhere. This also happens when trying to make changes in settings - ie changing language etc.

Anyone else finding this?

Also, just found that I cannot change the default keyboard language to English (UK), just reverts back to Chinese. The tablet language is set to Engilsh (United Kingdom) OK.

Edit - This is obviously an app installation problem as all was OK, I will try and deletesome and see what happens.
