Help! "Camera error - can't connect to camera."

1) Menu>Settings>About MID?
2) Did you pick erase everything, including intSD, when update? If not, you should redo the update and choose erase everything.
3) what other camera app you tried? camera360?

Thanks for your support. Yes! I did erase everything when updating, but it was of no use. I tried Camera360 after your recommendation but that doesn't work either. As soon as I open it, it gives an error to "turn hardware compatibility on". There's a button on it with "Close and turn" for this, but when I use it, it again says "sorry" and asks to leave a feedback. I think camera360 can't help in this.

Any other suggestions?

What did you take for your cold? Do you have a sore throat? Hope you getting better soon and please dont pass the virus to your tablet

I once travelled to China, a remote area, and have a sore throat, and cannot buy the mediicine I usually take in US and was quite miserable for several days. I finally got to Gaungzhaun, a large metro and got my medicine. I felt for you.

I read your pics, your setting is like mine, so it is fine. And how about question 1), Menu > Settings > About MID?

Well, the cold has gotten worse, I think it's a viral flu or something. .. I've took a tablet for it and now I'm hoping that at least this tablet would work...

Good to know you found your medicine in China. I'm from India and have never went to China, so don't know about Gaungzhaun or anything other place there, sorry...

Your build number is different from mine, either this is a newer version, or more likely, you've got the wrong ROM.

1) GooglePlay download and install antutu tester. Open antutu tester and look at information.
Version: ..... 20120619. 110839 test-keys
scroll down to bottom,
Camera: 192 million pixels
2) Menu > System Update > Camera: Rear camera + Front camera

I would flash a copy of 20120619 ROM, that should fix your problem or once for all, tell you about your tablet hardware.
