Anyone knows how to setup the 3G modem?
I cannot get an APN to save and when I'm trying to detect the network I get the message the network is not available.
Thank you in advance!

Maybe this will help, http://www.flashmyandroid.com/forum/...ighlight=modem, i know, it is a translation...
bun
Thank you very much. I'll give it a try tomorrow and post the results.
What I found:
1. ICS does not allow changing APN settings.
2. The only way you can get an APN manager to become a system application is "theoretically" with full version of Titanium Backup.
Until somebody else tries and reports that is working I will not pay for Titanium Backup.
More Info:
I have paid for Titanium. I was able after that to make the APN manager a system application but that did not solved the problem. ICS is still not allowing a change of the internal APNs.
In a nut shell I was unable to use the modem (E1756 - real reported name) with the tablet. The modem is trying to get a 3G connection but I cannot input the network information.

I'm also not able to set-up Huawei E1750 modem with my PD20. I couldn't save any new access points for the mobile networks (here in Bulgaria) so the device is not able to connect and get internet access. I bought this Huawei modem especially for the tablet, keep trying to get it work...

The modem works fine with the laptop, so , in my case is not a complete waste of money.
I made a tutorial about how to configure 3G modem on PD10, but it's in spanish (I guess the images should be enough) http://www.mediafire.com/?52zfigb7sqv25rm
If you have problems, I can try to translate it if I get some time
Thanks for the tutorial, I already did all up to the step "Instalacion en Android". My problem is that the tablet does not detect any signal while the modem is connected and also I get error when trying to detect networks in the menu "Network Operators". It's like the modem is not even detected by the tablet. I don't know why is that, on the laptop this Huawei E1750 works just fine ! Tomorrow I'll try with another SIM card to different mobile operator...
gonza: Everything is done. There is only modem available when connect it and the SIM card has no PIN code. I purchased the 3G modem from http://www.pandawill.com/unlocked-hu...usb-modem.html and I think everything should be OK with it.
P.s. ... Actually according to the windows software the modem I received is E1756C and not E1750 and I believe this should be the reason why it's not detected.

I have a Huawei E169 modem & thought I'll get it a go, even though it is not listed in the supported modems.
gonza, thanks for the tutorial. I tried using putty. But for some reason, modem kept saying COMMAND NOT SUPPORT. Then I tried a program called Mwcomm
http://www.mwconn.net/download_mwconn.html
This software has an exe called Configure, which has a modem console. You can enter AT commands and it worked!
But no luck connecting with my tablet (PD10 Olympic edition). Modem light blinks.. I used aLogcat app to see what is happening:
