WIFI Issues on Ainol Novo 7 Elf 2

Do the tablets you have in stock come from the batch with the defective wifi antenna? I already asked about this but have yet to see any response.

Ainol has stated that they will provide free replacements, and bear the return postage. However, I would like to avoid any hassle and just buy one already fixed.

More info on the issue here:

Do reply soon. If your pre-sales support is like this I'd hate to think about your post sales support.

I have the same issue, wifi keeps dropping out on my Aurora II, I have updated it to the latest official firmware which actually made it a bit worse if anything.

Hmm, Google just announced the Nexus 7 priced at $199.
Quad-Core A9 nVidia processor, better build quality, 1280x800, 7 inch IPS display...
Most important of all IMO will be the official ROM.

I wonder if this will drive the prices of China tabs down. I'm holding off on getting another Ainol tablet.

Hi, I've just boght this tablet, and I've got to buy the HDMI cable. In the specs says that has a "mini HDMI port", but in a forum of ainol-novo.com, they told me that this tablet has a "normal HDMI port". Could you please confirm which type of HDMI port has?? So I don't buy the wrong cable. Thaks in advanced

I have the single core Ainol Novo 7 Elf and it uses the mini-HDMI port. Got myself a cheap converter over at DealExtreme.com and it works fine with a generic HDMI cable I had lying around.

There is NO any microSD or SD slot. What you have is what you have. I would pay 50$ more and get the 16G version, just to be on the safe side. This made the total $249.
