    Ampe A10 battery life

I can only get 4 hrs max with wifi off (screen at lowest brightness).
And after recharging my battery drops to 90% in a min or so :/

Battery meter jumps up/down... any programs you could recommend for battery management and etc.?

Same situation for me. I just bought an Ampe A10 Deluxe Edition tablet to give it to my daughter as a gift and it never boots up; just shows a battery logo every time I push power button or every time I plug charger. Pandawill Support Team just say "send me a video" but I think this story won't have a happy ending; my nephew bought an Eken tablet and it freezed and rebooted by itself; I sent a video and Pandawill Support Team said to me I had 2 choices: fix it in my city (are you crazy? who's going to fix a chinese tablet?) or send it back. Finally, tablet was thrown away because sending it back to China was as expensive as a new tablet.

I've had the same problem with mine twice now, and I think it's a consequence of letting it disharge below a certain point. When I press the power button I get the battery logo and then the screen blanks. Plugging in the power charger makes the charging light go green initially, then red.

I solved it by leaving it charging overnight (ignore the red light, it's still charging), then taking the back off and disconnecting the battery for a couple of minutes. Taking the back off just involves leverage, and has been dealt with elsewhere in this forum (be careful not to damage the speaker wires). The battery connector is slightly fiddly but can be disconnected using fine, long-nose pliers or what I call artery forceps (often sold in electrical shops for picking up fiddly bits I think the thing next to it is the gyroscope.

Reconnect, put the back on and press the power button for a few seconds. I've done this twice now, and the time and date reset to 2010, but everything else (programs, accounts, settings including wifi) are all retained. I seem to remember the screen was very unresponsive on first boot and I had to turn the power off with a 10 second press of the power button, but it was fine after the second boot. I'm not going to guarantee it'll work on yours, but if it's bricked anyway, you've got nothing to lose
