I am real happy for your guys, a happy ending anyway. As I like my PD-10, works very well, it is scarely to see their QA is so poor. Again, good to see you guys can now play with the PD-10. The PD-10 is my most happy purchase so far.

To echo about QA, I have problem with my newly arrived Ainol Novo7 Mars. It did not charge with the charger came with the unit. It is an AC adapter with USB charge. I dont know what is the problem, I just grab my own cellphone charger, and now it is 100% charged, and I can now play with it. Apparantly there are quite a few dead chargers. And this one is in the package box, must be from Ainol. Thank god, it is NOT the battery.

I recently bought a PD10 and I have a problem. The battery level indicator jumps randomly (even third party apps from the market) If I connect the charger the indicator drops to 0% and it seems like it does not charge..however if I leave it there for an hour and pull out the charger the indicator goes up to max and I can use the tab for 3-4 hourse without any issues..the problem is that since the indicator displays false information I do not when will it shut down and when it happens it is instant. Anyone with a solution? I tried out 2 nokia chargers (none of them work) + a USB charger (does not work either) :|

Nokia chargers are supplying more than 5V so they will not work. The tablet is particular about the voltage supplied (must be close to 5V). Measure the voltage of the charger and use one that supplies 5V (can be an USB one if you have the USB to 2mm plug adapter cable) and see if the issue still shows up. The battery indicator is not very precise on this tablet. Even if you install another application it will still rely on what the hardware provides. Because the battery is 2700 mAh when charging through USB (that only supplies 500 mA) you will need to have it plugged in for at least 6 hours for a full charge from empty to 100%.

micro usb charger (700mah from a cellphone) charges mine, but only when the tablet is powered off completely(quick tap of the power button turns the screen off, long press turnsthe tablet off completely), haven't found a 2mm charger that works with mine at all so far.

I didn't want to create another thread, but I'm having another issue with charging, I can't seem to get 100% , the max I got after a night of charging is 97%, and I don't know how I can callibrate the battery

I wouldn't re-calibrate. What I would do is to use the tablet on battery until it shuts down (about 10% left) and then recharge and see if it goes again to 100%. If you keep the charger plugged in all the time the indicator will do that. Calibration has nothing to do with the real charge of the battery. The rechargeable batteries are supposed to be discharged and recharged every so often from empty to full.

I did try what you say ,uncharged until 4% when it shuts down by itself, and left it charging all night, but this morning it bootedat 97%

In that case, if you are rooted, you can use "battery calibrator". Search for it on Google Play Store. Using that application you can force calibration. I, myself, I would not worry about that as long as the battery life is not degraded.

I used my Nokia charger, and the pd10 loved it. I always charge with the screen off. It fully charge in 2.5 hours. I do not recall seeing 100% though. I used 3 Nokia chargers, one in my office, one in my car and one at home, all 3 works. All a geniune Nokia phone chargers.
