I mistakenly flashed my Ampe A90 firmware for another model A10, and now its touchscreen does not work. I tried flashing the firmware mainly, as older versions, and new, but it did not improve the situation, and the touchscreen does not work. All other functions of the tablet are working and I can connect a usb mouse and work on the tablet. Can anything be done to restore the touchscreen work? Help please.

Well have tried just about everything i could think of. Just like Wemailo has posted everything working except touch. I wonder if the wrong driver is installed . but i cant figure how to tell. Please someone help us out. Will Panda where are you?

Just tried to flash fw from 1-15 and fails with rootfs fail error. whats that. Bad download?
Hi, I am with a similar problem.
I was trying to flash my ampe with the latest firmware, because the original was with some peoblems. After I flashed it, the android starts, but the touchscreen does not answer. I tried the last firmware, the v1.1 firmware, and none of them works. They install ok and the android starts fine, but the touchscreen doees not works.
Someone know what to do? Can I do some sort of factory reset, enter recovery mode or something like that?

Revision: Now flashed to cm10 with n90 compatability jb zip and still no touchscreen. Anyone know of how I can fully wipe tablet memory and reflash from empty state? or how I can check if it's hardware malfunction?

Hi Carrie, thanks for replying. I was just wondering, my ampe a90 is a single core, will this firmware work? If so, how do I load it? My a90 doesn't have the option to upgrade via image (iso). Please point me in the direction of any guide that will help me upgrade. Thanks.

I know A90 has dual-core version, elite version and deluxe version.
I am not sure if they have single core version. are you sure?
maybe you tab is elite or deluxe.
Pls tell me which version your tab is.
I have the deluxe (metal back) but it's still a single core cortex a8 allwinner A10.
